Local Government Summit Against Antisemitism

September 3 @ 8:00 am - September 5 @ 5:00 pm

RSVP for 2025 Local Government Summit Against Antisemitism, hosted by CAM and chaired by Mayor Tom Tate, 3-5 September.

Join the inaugural 2025 Australian Mayors Summit Against Antisemitism, taking place on the Gold Coast from September 3-5, 2025. Local government representatives are invited to this landmark event, which follows successful international gatherings.

Over 200 local government leaders from across Australia will convene to share best practices and develop collaborative strategies against antisemitism and other forms of hate. Hosted by the Combat Antisemitism Movement (CAM) in partnership with the Executive Council of Australian Jewry (ECAJ), and chaired by Gold Coast Mayor Tom Tate, the summit offers a platform to stand in solidarity and exchange effective tools for local impact.

Recent data from ECAJ shows an alarming 316% increase in anti-Jewish incidents in Australia. As community leaders, your commitment to a safe and peaceful future is paramount. Your voice is crucial in demonstrating that hate has no place in our society.

You’ll connect with colleagues, Members of Parliament, and community leaders, including Beverly Hills Mayor Sharona Nazarian, the 2024 conference host. For selected interstate attendees, CAM will coordinate and fund travel and accommodation.

We would be honoured by your presence. Please RSVP or nominate a delegate at your earliest convenience.
