Victorian Legislative Assembly completes electronic manual rollout

Australian developer of electronic publishing technology, Eurofield Information Solutions (EIS) has completed its rollout of the Victorian Legislative Assembly’s electronic Practice and Committees Manuals.

Designed for organisations with a need to produce, distribute and maintain large reference publications, eComPress is an electronic publishing technology.
 
The eComPress electronic publishing technology allows parliaments to transform their Practice Manuals into compressed, searchable, annotatable collaborative productivity tools.
 
eComPress produces electronic publications as diverse as operational and service manuals, dictionaries, standards, procedure manuals, handbooks, statutes, legislation, medical journals and directories.
 
The rollout follows the implementation of eComPress in the House of Representatives in Canberra; the NSW Legislative Assembly; and the Northern Territory Legislative Assembly.
 
Other organisations that have adopted eComPress technology includes; the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD); the World Health Organization (WHO); the international Accounting Standards Board (IASB); the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC); the Federal Parliament of Australia; and the Australian Army Doctrine Division.
