Most recently, Mr Fedele-Sirotich led cyber security at the Department of Customer service, and prior to that he oversaw zero-trust security remote work deployment at the Department of Communities and Justice where he held a string of senior ICT governance and security roles.

He previously worked as senior manager ANZ service design and development with Macquarie Group.

In his new role Mr Fedele-Sirotich will lead the internal and external technical delivery capability for CSO Group and its customers, which include state goverments across the country.

“Matthew’s … holistic and mature approach to solving current cyber security challenges is what anchors him as the right person for us here at CSO Group,” CSO Group’s CEO Michael Simkovic said in a statement.

Mr Fedele-Sirotich said his own experience as a customer of CSO Group and his proven management of security environments led to his decision to join the company.

“Having been a customer of CSO Group, when the opportunity arose to be a part of the organisation I leapt at the opportunity,” he said in a statement.
