Keeping you informed during COVID-19

As agencies around the world face an unprecedented global coronavirus crisis it’s more important than ever to stay up to date with the news that will affect all levels of government, help you rise to the challenges and get you back on your feet once the storm has passed.

As well as our usual coverage of the latest council news, innovations and initiatives, here at Government News we’ll be doing our best to keep you informed about developments on the COVID-19 front and how the sector is responding.

To do this, we want to hear from you, especially if you’re in local government. We want to hear your stories, your solutions, your trials and tribulations in the face of COVID-19; what’s working and what isn’t.

Reliable, accurate information is critical at times like this. We’ll be doing our darndest to ensure that’s available, and your experiences as well as your hits and misses will prove invaluable to others in the sector.

While our coverage of conferences is on hold for now because of restrictions on gatherings, we’ll still be covering key reports, comings and goings in the sector and getting perspectives from experts and stakeholders.

We’ll also continue to make sure you’re across what local governments at home and abroad are doing to build better cities, improve management, deliver more efficient services and weather the effects of the pandemic.
