NEW TECHNOLOGY DRIVES MOBILE PATROL CAPABILITY
Mobile Patrols are an efficient and cost effective way of protecting businesses and their assets. Whether it’s conducting random patrols or alarm responses, a Mobile Patrol is a visible presence to deter intrusion, theft and vandalism and provide a rapid response when a break-in has occurred. For a patrol service to be successful, it needs to be timely, responsive and support its Patrol Officers by making available accurate and detailed information. It also needs to be transparent to ensure accurate reporting and billing.
To enhance their existing service and offer a greater level of productivity and accountability, Wilson Security is commissioning a next generation mobile patrol and alarm response solution. The purpose built solution automates and simplifies the delivery of security response services, by providing real-time information to any of one of the three 24 hour Wilson Security Operations Centres located in Perth, Melbourne and Sydney.
Dispatch
With the new technology, the Operations Centres will be able to select the most appropriate response vehicle, reducing unnecessary travel time. This unique feature combined with in-vehicle computers will enable Wilson Security to provide a rapid response that is unmatched in the industry.
Reporting
In-vehicle computers will make detailed and accurate information available to Patrol Officers to ensure they are fully informed of the service requirements. This will provide a more effective service delivery whilst on site. Patrol Officers will also utilise the technology to submit occurrence and incident reports that meet each clients’ requirements.
Compliance
All Wilson Security mobile patrol vehicles are currently being fitted with high capacity GPS units to ensure compliance with responses and accurate recording of onsite and offsite times. The GPS provides clients with the visibility and peace of mind that the service is completed on time, every time.
It is anticipated that the new technology will be rolled out in Western Australia in August, with New South Wales, Australian Capital Territory, Queensland, Victoria and South Australia to follow.
