Primus Australia has today announced that it has signed NBN Co’s Wholesale Broadband Agreement (WBA).

 

The WBA sets out the terms and conditions that the NBN Co will use to govern the supply of products and services to its wholesale customers.

 

“We are delighted to be a part of such an important agreement for the future of the telecommunications industry in Australia.

 

Primus is an established leader in high speed broadband fibre connections and we expect to continue our leadership position as the NBN continues its rollout,” said Primus Australia CEO Tom Mazerski.

 

Primus will work closely with NBN Co to deliver services that fulfil a broad range of customer needs including lower cost ‘fibre voice only’ services.

“We already have a voice network in place with many voice-only customers, which puts us in a leading position to ensure that under the NBN our voice customers will continue to receive the highest quality services,” Mr Mazerski said.

Primus Australia has one of the largest Fibre-To-The-Home customer bases in Australia.
