Learn more about Government Tender, Procurement polices and Green Procurement
IQPC’s 3rd Government Procurement Forum in Canberra will bring together Government with key stakeholders to learn about the latest innovations and best practice strategies for all of your Government Procurement questions. I’ll have the opportunity to learn from, and network with, industry leading Government Procurement experts to gain insights, identify opportunities and take away key strategies for successful procurement and tendering objectives.
As the economy is getting onto steady ground again we are seeing more tenders out there and up for offer. The process used to acquire and bid for these tenders is changing too. We are now seeing ‘Panels’ of vendors and suppliers being set up. This panel process allows for the time required around tendering to be reduced as you no longer have to advertise the tender.
Furthermore, with the debate around Carbon Tax Councils, Government Agencies have started looking at ways to reduce their carbon output and long-term spending costs, many are turning to ‘Green’ or Sustainable Procurement. Products and suppliers are cropping up everywhere, but the challenge is to ensure you’ll still get the same value for your dollar and long-term solution.
