The Metropolis Congress 2008, hosted by the NSW Government, will bring together about 1,000 city leaders, global CEOs, design professionals and academics from around the world to discuss key issues facing the world’s major cities.

Now formally recognised as a Continuing Professional Development (CPD) event, the triennial congress organised by the Metropolis Association will feature extensive case studies and sessions revolving around topics including incorporating climate change mitigation strategies in large-scale urban design, comprehensive urban renewal in disadvantaged city areas and opportunities for architects in local development projects.
