With the Australian governments spending on transport infrastructure at unprecedented levels, the investment in the Northern Territory’s infrastructure alone has reached $78 million. 

The first Australia’s Northern Gateway conference will assess the Northern Territory’s transport infrastructure and identify opportunities for future developments and trade.

Agendas to be discussed include economic outlook for commodities and other exports, trade developments and strategies for successful shipping, delivering sustainable transport infrastructure, the NT mobility project, current and emerging challenges for the Territory’s roads and plans for the Territory’s mining industry.

Key speakers include NT infrastructure minister Delia Lawrie, Australian Trucking Association CEO Stuart St Clair, FreightLink CEO John Fullerton and Northern Territory Airports CEO Ian Kew.
