TAS: STATE New chairman appointed at the RPDG

Former Kingborough Council general manager, Greg Alomes, has been appointed to the position of Executive Commissioner and Chairman of the Resource Planning and Development Commission (RPDG).

In addition to years of experience in the local government sector, Mr Alomes has significant experience as a consultant in the fields of strategic and business planning processes, project management, change management, organisational audits, management reviews and performance appraisals. Mr Alomes has replaced Mr Simon Cooper, who has acted in the executive commissioner role for the past 12 months.
